map of Afghanistan appeared in Dec. 3, 2001 issue of Time Magazine.
The coloring and shading of the map were done with my program: TopoToImage.
The digital elevation model was purchaced from East View Cartographic.
This is one of about a dozen maps of Afghaninstan that appeared in Time
