This
diagram of the sinking of the Russian submarine Kusrsk appeared in the
Aug. 28, 2000 issue of Time Magazine. The interior of the sub is speculative
as the actual sub interior is a Russian military secret. We did not
know at the time this diagram was created how much damage there was
to the front of the sub. It turned out to be much more extensive than
shown here. (See the previous image). The main focus of this diagram
was the effort to rescue the crew. |
