This
map of Afghanistan appeared in the Oct. 1, 2001 issue of Time Magazine.
This was the first map of the country to appear in the magazine after
the war started. The coloring and shading were produced with my TopoToImage
program. The 3D drape effect was done with some custom software and
the 3D edge of the country was created with Lightwave 3D. |
